Station Open House on May 6th allows public to see tax dollars, volunteer dedication at work

3/01 -- Chardon Village, Ohio

The Chardon Volunteer Fire Department will officially open the new fire station to the public eye on May 6th, at a formal open house.  This will allow any citizen to get a first-hand look at the new station, new apparatus, and the pride of the Chardon Volunteer Fire Department.  An open house for public officials occurred in April 2001, followed by the public open house in May.  The May open house will coincide with National Trauma/EMS Awareness Week.
