Graduating High School Explorer Cadets Join Fire Department Ranks  

We are proud to welcome our new graduating cadets (from left front row) Dana Young & Brandon Willman, and (from left back row) Brad Majetich, Ken Pritt, Tim Jonovich, and Chris Kovacs.

The Chardon Fire Department congratulates six cadet high school graduates as the newest members of the department.  However, these fine young men & women are not strangers to the department, as they have served on the Fire Fighting Explorer Post 793 for the past few years.  Four of the six were in an advanced allied health technology program at Auburn Career Center for the past two years (Capt. John Blauch was their instructor).  Four of them are already completing their EMT training, and three have already taken their 36-hour basic fire fighting course !  Please congratulate and welcome them, if you see them in your travels.
