FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Eagles (F.O.E.) donates EMS Equipment

12/2007 - Chardon, Ohio

A large donation from the Chardon chapter of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles was used to purchase three pieces of new EMS equipment.  The donation purchased a new Medtronic Lifepak 12 defibrillator, a new Stryker cot/stretcher, and a new portable Laerdal Suction unit.  All three items will be placed into service to allow the Chardon Fire Department to house a third rescue squad.  This third ambulance will be put to good use, as the department often has at least two calls at once.

Thank you very much to the Eagles... they have supported our ability to impact the lives of our residents in the Chardon area.
